Female Mallard Duck, Richfield, Minnesota.
This female Mallard lived with her family in a pond near my home. Over the course of a few months the other ducks pushed her away until eventually she was banished to her own corner of the pond. I fed them everyday and always had to look for her so she could get her share.
When the pond froze over they all left quite suddenly so I don't know what happened to her. I hope she found someone to love her and she is happy.
