The kitchen at the Station Masters apartment in the Northern Pacific Depot in Hinckley, Minnesota. Built in 1894, the same year a firestorm destroyed the town and left more than 400 people dead.

Journalist, sometimes aimless...often terrified traveler, wildlife photographer, Antarctic explorer, rabbit peep, news junkie and New Zealander living the American dream... For many years I have traveled the world specializing in unique photography from remote corners of the earth. From the turquoise icebergs of Antarctic Continent and the penguins of South Georgia to the albatross of the Falkland Islands to the wildlife of Africa and the frozen corners of Minnesota. During my journalism career I published hundreds of news and feature articles along with several travel articles about life in the Southern Ocean. Last year my work was been published on the online version of the Smithsonian Magazine and one of my King Penguin...
