Our luxuriously soft blankets are available in two different sizes and feature incredible artwork on the top surface. The bottom surface is white. Our 100% polyester blankets are available in two different styles: plush fleece and sherpa fleece. Plush fleece blankets are soft and fluffy on both sides, whereas sherpa blankets are smooth like a soft sweater on the artwork side (i.e. shorter threads) which provides for a sharper image. Looking for a recommendation? Go with a 60" x 80" plush fleece blanket. It's soft and luxurious on both sides... the artwork looks incredible... and the size is just right for everyone.

Wandering Albatross, Kaikoura, New Zealand.
I sat in a tiny boat for many hours off the Kaikoura Coast in New Zealand waiting for these spectacular Wandering Albatross to arrive..and they did. They appeared from nowhere, expertly swooping around me with their giant 8-10 foot wingspan. The landing procedure left a lot to be desired as they fell out of the sky, landed on the water with a very undignified splash, wings flailing around and the odd irritated squawk.
Journalist, sometimes aimless...often terrified traveler, wildlife photographer, Antarctic explorer, rabbit peep, news junkie and New Zealander living the American dream... For many years I have traveled the world specializing in unique photography from remote corners of the earth. From the turquoise icebergs of Antarctic Continent and the penguins of South Georgia to the albatross of the Falkland Islands to the wildlife of Africa and the frozen corners of Minnesota. During my journalism career I published hundreds of news and feature articles along with several travel articles about life in the Southern Ocean. Last year my work was been published on the online version of the Smithsonian Magazine and one of my King Penguin...
