Journalist, sometimes aimless...often terrified traveler, wildlife photographer, Antarctic explorer, rabbit peep, news junkie and New Zealander living the American dream...
For many years I have traveled the world specializing in unique photography from remote corners of the earth. From the turquoise icebergs of Antarctic Continent and the penguins of South Georgia to the albatross of the Falkland Islands to the wildlife of Africa and the frozen corners of Minnesota.
During my journalism career I published hundreds of news and feature articles along with several travel articles about life in the Southern Ocean and I am a monthly contributor for fine art magazine, "Eye on Fine Art Photography" I am also an editor at FemWorld Photo Magazine, a magazine for female photographers which is launching in December.
So far this year my work has been published on the online version of the Smithsonian Magazine and one of my King Penguin photographs was the National Wildlife Federation "Photo of the Week" and featured in the June, 2014 issue of Wild Planet Photo Magazine. In February of 2014 my photo of a Red Billed Gull was "Photo of the Week on an online gallery "Focusing on Wildlife."
More information on my journalism awards and my travel blogs and articles can be found in the "Blogs" section.
